*$1,000.00 cash withdrawal limit from shares. If you have a Free GPFCU Checking Account, you may withdrawal $2,000.00 cash from any account. Available at the Main Office and at the St. Clair Hospital (South Hills) branch.

Vacation Club

The Vacation Club Account is a smart and easy way to put money away year-round for trips or even as an emergency fund.

You may make unlimited deposits into this account via payroll deduction, transfer, cash, check or money order at any time.*
In an effort to encourage saving, there is a limit of 2 withdrawals per calendar year. There is a $5.00 Over Withdrawal Fee that will be applied to any subsequent withdrawals.

Christmas Club

Holiday expenses getting the better of you? Stay ahead by saving year round with a Christmas Club Account!

You may make unlimited deposits into this account via payroll deduction, transfer, cash, check or money order at any time.* There is a $5.00 Withdrawal Fee per transaction that will be applied to any withdrawals or transfers to another account.

All funds in a Christmas Club will be mailed as a check automatically in November, unless noted otherwise beforehand. Club balances of less than $100 will be transferred to GPFCU Main Shares instead of mailed. If you do not wish to have your funds withdrawn until next year, please contact us or call 1-412-621-6800.

Youth Accounts

Teach your children the value of saving and put money aside for their future! Any current GPFCU member as a parent or guardian may set up the share account for minors under 18 years old with a valid social security number. The account is opened in the child’s name with the parent or guardian as joint owner.
You may make unlimited deposits into this account via payroll deduction, transfer, cash, check or money order at any time.*

  • Stop into any office or request a new member packet here.
  • Complete an account card with the minor’s information. (If the minor is unable to give their signature, the joint owner (member opening the youth account) signs the minor’s name for them and writes “minor” next to the signature.)
  • Joint owner(s) must provide photocopies of 2 forms of IDs:
    • driver’s license
    • work ID
    • passport, etc.
  • Return completed account card, photo ID copies, and a minimum of $5.00 initial deposit.

Certificates

Looking to put away some money for an extended period of time and earn the most from your savings? A Certificate of Deposit (CD) may be a good fit for you.

Features Include:

  • Dividends will be applied to your account quarterly.
  • $500.00 minimum balance required.
  • Automatically renew at maturity unless you indicate otherwise within the 10 day grace period. Early withdrawal penalties apply.
  • At maturity, funds may be withdrawn via cash, check or transferred directly to shares.
